Summer exhibition "Tessellations"

From Tuesday 1 July to Sunday 21 September 2025, the exhibition "TESSELLATIONS" can be visited and experienced in the Cozmix visitor centre. The exhibition highlights all kinds of plane fillings that are reminiscent of art such as Escher also produced. Both by setting up the plane fillings and by the composition of the works themselves, an important geometric property is highlighted: symmetry. Moreover, we also see symmetry returning on large and small scales in the cosmos, which makes it seem like a fundamental property of nature.

The exhibition on the first floor of Beisbroek Castle can be viewed freely during the opening hours of the Nature Centre on the ground floor:

Monday | Wednesday | Thursday | Saturday from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM

Sunday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM

The exhibited prints have been made favourably available a by Peter Raedschelders.
