In collaboration with our collegue's from the public observatory Armand Pien in Ghent we are joining a project about light pollution, and we could use your help!
Look for the constellation Orion on a clear night. This constellation is very recognizable because of the three stars in a row ('Orion's belt'). How many other stars can you count in Orion? Submit your observations from the 22nd of February to the 29th of 2025 via Globe At Night or the Armand Pien Website!
The Armand Pien Observatory also hosts other events about light pollution, like a light pollution walk through Ghent and the Bourgoyen and a night to count stars. You can sign up using this link.
